Wrist Forearm Splint  Remove the splint from the packaging and loosen the Velcro straps.  Have the patient slide their hand into the brace. Closing the thumb enclosure first, reapply each Velcro strap, snug to fit.  Trim any excess strap with scissors. Examine the brace to make sure everything adequately fits and ensure there is nothing irritating the patient.
