Wrist Splint Remove the wrist splint from the packaging and loosen the Velcro straps. Have the patient insert their hand into the brace.  Reapply the Velcro straps starting with the thumb, pulling the straps snug to fit. Examine the brace to ensure everything is fitting appropriately.  Ask the patient if there is anything irritating from the brace.
