Welcome to another edition of Advocacy 101 for the American Alliance of Orthopedic Executives. My name is Paul Bruning. I'm the Advocacy Council Chair, and I am the Service Line Director for Neuromusculoskeletal Services for Sutter Health in the Silicon Valley market out in San Francisco. And as the Advocacy Council Chair, I am going to encourage you to get involved. And as stated before, it's not just about talking, it's about doing. And you can get involved. After all, it's better to be at the table than on the menu. And how can you get involved? How can you be at the table? Educate yourself on issues that are important to you, but also become involved with the Advocacy Council group where you can learn more and develop skills in talking to your legislative members. Anybody and everybody can be involved in the Advocacy Council. Everybody has a voice. This is your chance to do something with that voice and be part of and initiate change for the betterment of healthcare. If you want to be involved in the Advocacy Council, reach out to the AAOE staff and the liaison to the Advocacy Council. Request to be part of the group. We're happy and we can have as many members as possible because it's important to have a variety of voices on the council so we can best support our membership across the board. So please consider getting involved. It's very easy. There's no high level of expectation. The only expectation is that you're joining our meetings. You're talking about what concerns you. You're helping us create the verbiage, helping us create the vision and what is our concerns and helping us advocate on behalf of all of the orthopedic executives across the country. Thank you for your time. Hopefully we'll hear from you and you'll be joining the Advocacy Council in the near future. Thank you.
