Financial Impact of Injections in Your Practice
Financial Impact of Injections in Your Practice
Description
Reimbursement rates for injections used in orthopedic practices are continuously changing. In order to control costs, injection reimbursement rates and insurance preferences need to be reviewed at least quarterly and adjustments made using this data. Plan to attend this members-only meeting to learn how one practice administrator keeps the preferred injection list up to date and how that process has allowed the practice to control overall injection costs. The session will include an overview of the history of injections, recent changes in reimbursement models, existing cost variations, and the financial impact of regularly updating injection reimbursement and insurance preferences for injections. Then, attendees will be encouraged to ask questions and share ideas for effectively managing orthopedic injections.
Learning Objectives:
- Assess the cost variations association with orthopedic injections.
- Analyze the revenue potential from providing orthopedic injections.
- Evaluate the potential financial impact of improved management of orthopedic injections for your practice.
